It's a knife.
Mine has a mule deer antler handle. Maybe I should take a photo of the entire item to give you a better idea?

*chuckles* Well, with the way some photos can be set up, it's very difficult to realize their true size.
The blade is roughly 4 inches long and not quite 2 inches broad at it's broadest spot.
